Introduction

Hey everyone! Serinity here again. After working on Lazy Bees for a few more days, I've decided it's finally time to release v2.0. Thanks to everyone for rating the game during the Spring Cozy Jam, and thanks to those who left me feedback. A lot has been added or changed in version 2, which is why it was a major number change (v1.0 -> v2.0). I figured it was justified, and you probably will too once you see everything updated:

What changed?

A lot. Additions include:

• Mute Music button in main menu
• A squeegee that is now required to squeegee honey from hives
• Alternative inputs for mouse-wheel (1, 2, 3 on the top of the keyboard)
• Minimap and Megamap (Press M!)
• Version on Title Screen
• The ability to bee-hop your way through Bee Guy's tutorial text (Press E)
• More sounds, including sounds for the fountain, running on different surfaces, and Bee Guy
• Save / Load Game system
  • Saves are saved to:
    • Windows: %userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Serinity\Lazy Bees\LazyBees.save
    • Linux: $HOME/.config/unity3d/Serinity/Lazy Bees/LazyBees.save
    • MacOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Serinity/Lazy Bees/LazyBees.save
  • Saves are backed up each time you start a new game. They are in the same location :)
• The fountain is now broken into many pieces that you have to piece back together. Oh no!
• Hats!!!!!!!!!!!!!
• Linux and MacOS builds
• Spoilers for v2.0

Fixes include:

• The "buy fountain" button not going away when purchased
• Run speed when pressing two keys at the same time was doubled
• Fountain not having a hitbox
• Pacing of the game, balance changes
  • Honey now sells for 25 gold
• Bee Guy is now animated! I didn't have time to fix this before v1.0 release.
  
• Vacuum (and by extension, the new squeegee) now equip reliably.
• High Score now doesn't count your time in the title screen or main menu.
• Several under-the-hood changes

Will we see more of Bee Guy in the future?

Maybe! Who knows. For now though, I need a break. If someone suggests a feature that I can't resist adding, of course I'm open to adding it to a new update. But for now, v2.0 will be the definitive release of Lazy Bees. I would love to hear your feedback!
